THIS WEEK
Back On Track
We hope you had a great Thanksgiving with your family and friends. Holidays, can be a lot of fun, but they can also disrupt routine. Get rid of the junk food and watch out for what we call pleasure eating. Also aim for 12,000 steps in the month of December
THINGS TO PRACTICE:
1. 12,000 Steps. Tracking your steps everyday is a great way to monitor your overal activity level. In the midst of the holiday season, it is easy to be less active. Make 12,000 steps daily your target.
2. No Pleasure Eating. It is easy to get in the habbit of comfort foods this time of year and eating treats and Christmas cookies. Keep the treats out of your house as best as possible. Remember your mission with food is to fuel your body for your workouts and provide energy for your daily needs. Eating is not a sport so try to refrain from the times of eating just for pleasure (desserts, late night snacking, second helpings of food, etc.).
