September for most of us means back to normal schedules and routines. Take a careful look at your game plan and your system for workouts and your meals this week. Develop good habits going into Fall.
THINGS TO PRACTICE:
1. Meal Prep. September means back to busy work schedules and chasing kids at sport practices and school. Make a conscious effort to get back into the habit of meal prepping. This means planning out your week for meals, shopping for good quality foods and then prepping a lot of the ingredients ahead on a day where you have extra time. Chop your fruits and vegetables. Marinate your meats. Cook foods ahead of time that will keep well. Make sure you also have the right containers and ways to store food. 2. Develop Your Game Plan. With Fall on the horizon, it is time for a new game plan with your fitness routine. How are you going to shake things up? Maybe you have been missing your workouts and it is time to just get consistent again and get after it. Maybe you need to sign-up for that next race as a carrot out in front of you. Take a good look at your fitness program and figure out what motivates you. Time to put the rubber to the road and refocus yourself to your plan!
