March Madness Continues…

Hopefully you have been enjoying some of the NCAA March Madness, but still keeping on track with your March Madness workouts. Also, checkout what all the hype is about surrounding tumeric!

THINGS TO PRACTICE:

1. March Madness Challenge. This is our final week of March and we hope you finish strong in your double day workout journey. Strive for 1-2 days this week where you complete two workouts.
2. The Tumeric Buzz. Tumeric has had a lot of buzz lately, but is it really worth its weight in gold (pun intended)?  Tumeric is a plant related to ginger. It is most commonly used in curry dishes, but is finding its way into many other recipes due to its anti-inflammatory properties. Tumeric contains curcumin, which is the primary anti-inflammatory and functional chemical in tumeric. Tumeric has shown uses for allergies, depression, cholesterol, osteoarthritis, itching, gut disorders, and many other inflammatory and disease processes. We suggest incorporating tumeric in your diet, if you don’t already.  Check out some of the recipes on this page for ways to get your tumeric!
