Gut Check

We are more than half way through 2020 and it’s time for a little gut check. Are you where you wanted to be relative to your health and fitness goals you may have set back in January?

THINGS TO PRACTICE:

1. The Self Review. One of my favorite sayings is “control what you can control.”  Let’s be honest, there are a lot of things about 2020 out of our control, but your health and fitness is one of those things you can take control of.  Most of us set some sort of goal back in January for where we wanted our fitness journey to take us.  How is your progress relative to that goal?  Maybe your goal was to complete a marathon that has been cancelled, but did you still achieve the running mileage and health benefits of training for it? Where will the second half of 2020 take you.  What are your goals for the rest of the year?
2. Seek Adventure. Now more than ever, we need to get out of the house and seek adventure (socially distant of course). Your body was meant to move. A breath of fresh air and some off the beaten path exercise will do you good 🙂
